من قرأ قليلا في تعريفي لنفسي لرأى أنني احب الموسيقى ذات الايقاع البطيء التي تساعد على التركيز، وتلك التي تحمل رسالة معينة، فليست هي موسيقى لذاتها ، وإنما للرسالة التي تحملها أيضا. من أحب صانعي الموسيقى الي هو العبقري Michael Cretu الذي اشتهر أكثر ما اشتهر بمشروعه Enigma. اليوم اقدم لكم الالبوم الأخير الذي لم يصدر رسميا بعد، وسوف يصدر في 19 من الشهر الجاري سبتمبر 2008.
احد اعمال Enigma السابقة هو The Cross of Changes، وفيه ادانة واضحة لما قام به الاوروبيون من جرائم باسم الله، حين احتلوا العالم الجديد وشاعوا قتلا وتدميرا وذبحا بالسكان الاصليين هناك، وكل هذا باسم الله والمسيح ونشر المسيحية.

الالبوم الجديد Seven Lives Many Faces يركز على نقطة أن البشر كلهم من والدين اثنين هما سيدنا آدم وزوجه حواء، ويطرح تساؤلات عن السبب وراء شريرية البشر وعدائهم لبعضهم وقتلهم وشنهم الحروب ضد بعضهم البعض.
في هذا الالبوم نجد ايضا ما نجده في سائر الالبومات السابقة من Enigma، الصوت الخيالي الذي يلامس الروح قبل ايقاعه في الاذن، والريادية المطلقة والابداع منقطع النظير الذي يبلور Michael Cretu موسيقاه وفقا لها. وما يخص هذا الالبوم هو دمجه بين العديد من الثقافات الموسيقية من كل بقاع الارض، ليكون الناتج متميزا، متماسكا، وغاية في الجمال والروعة والسحر.

Just in case you havent noticed yet, I am an old Enigma fan. I just love what Michael Cretu geniusly creates. The music he produces touches the soul before hitting the ear, so spiritual and devine .. so extraordinary

Cretu manages to surprise like always, his music is never an imitation or a recreation, it is so original and authentic, so innovative and creative, so beauiful, so magnifique
What I like best in Cretu’s music is it not being devoted for the mere beauty of the sound. His music actually carries a message with it. In his prior "The Cross of Changes", Cretu criticizes the crimes that the europeans have done in the new world, the massacres against the native people of the lands there who were killed in the name of God, the name of the cross, spreading christianity in that world
In Seven Lives Many Faces, the focus is on the fact that all humans have same parents, Adam and Eve, which should make humans reconsider the hatred and killing and wars they wage against each other
The album also bring together several musical cultures in a great skill, coherence and quality where the fruit is really a superb music
